On this image you see the traditional fireworks launched for the Swiss national day on August the 1st. The fireworks is made above the "rade" of geneva, as you can see on the picture. You can also see behind the fireworks in the center of the view, the light of the St Peter Cathedral. Many people look at this celebration from their hotels all around the lake. The famous Geneva jeweller Gilbert Albert financed many times the cost of the fireworks.
