Description : La Perle du Lac' (litterally: 'The Pearl of the lake') is one of the many public parks of Geneva. At the beginning of last century, what was going to become the Pearl of the Lake was only one waste ground located out of the doors of the city. It was bought in 1825 per François Bartholoni who arranged it in a splendid park,and then by Geneva, which arranged it in public parks.
