Aside from the campsiteLes Neuvilles, 68 Route du Levant (027/722 45 44, fax 722 35 44; closed Jan), a quality place with four-person tents to rent (Fr.60–85) and dorms (Fr.20), there are a handful of town hotels, many unromantically planted on the busy Avenue du Grand-St-Bernard as sleepover motels to catch the traffic heading for the Alpine passes. Least expensive are the spartan shared-bath rooms of the old AubergePoste-Bourg, 81 Avenue du Grand-St-Bernard (027/722 25 17; a). City Garni, 7 Place St-Michel (027/723 36 00, fax 723 36 01; a) is similarly priced, but modern and generic. The bland Forclaz-Touring, 15 Rue du Léman (027/722 27 01, fax 722 41 79; b), has comfortable en-suite rooms near the station, whereas the Poste, 8 Rue de la Poste (027/722 14 44, fax 722 04 45; b), is in the heart of town but could do with some renovation work and a good spring-clean.
