The Coop supermarket opposite the tourist office on Klosterstrasse has a budget self-service restaurant attached. Otherwise, there are plenty of places to fuel up along Dorfstrasse and through the centre. The Engelstübli has saté and other Indonesian specialities for around Fr.20, while across the road, the Alpenclub shelters several different eating places, including an inexpensive pizzeria, a Käsestube for fondue and the like, and a more formal restaurant with Swiss dishes for Fr.25 and up. Further east along Dorfstrasse, the Café zur Alten Post has basic stomach-filling menus for around Fr.15. Centre of the late-night après-ski scene is the Yucatanbar, which also offers good, filling evening meals for around Fr.18 or so. The English-style Angel pub on Dorfstrasse is another lively watering hole.
