Flying is by far the easiest, cheapest and most convenient way to get from Britain to Switzerland. Travelling by train is comfortable and scenic, but is both more expensive than flying and can take the best part of a full day. Both trains and long-distance buses are only really worth considering if you incorporate a trip to Switzerland into a longer jaunt around Europe.
